A member of the communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region, Samuel Akunga has advised former National Chairman of NPP, Paul Afoko and former Second Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe who were suspended from the party to be of good behavior so that their suspension could be lifted.
Mr. Akunga who was delighted about the lifting of the suspension of former General Secretary of NPP, Kwabena Agyepong said the other suspended party officials should learn from him so that the party could consider lifting their suspension.
Mr. Akunga who was speaking on Critical Issues on A1 Radio last Friday said Mr. Agyepong is a man of experience and has also shown how much he loves the party by campaigning for the President in the 2020 elections.
He said the party is focused on delivering its mandate so that their dream of breaking the 8-year mantra can be realized and as such, people like Agyepong will be needed in securing a victory against the NDC in the 2024 general election.
Mr. Akunga said, “No parent is happy that the child is outside as such Afoko and Sammy Crabbe should be of good behavior and they will be absorbed back into the party.”
He called on all party members to work hard regardless of the dissatisfaction that they may exist in the party.
