I’m marrying 3 wives concurrently to cut down cost – Zuarungu Moshei Chief

The Chief of Zuarungu Moshei in the Bolgatanga East District of the Upper East Region, Alhaji Abdulai Mumuni has confirmed to A1radioonline.com that he will be tying the knot to his three beautiful fiancees come Saturday, January 15, 2022.

The ceremony, he said came as a result of years of serious planning and explanations to the families.

Speaking to Moses Apiah in a phone-in interview, Alhaji Mumuni explained that the planning took him two years before arriving on such a date, “I can’t wait for Saturday to come”.

“I started planning this thing in 2020. And here we are, yes, I’m happy. But I must say that In everything we do as humans, we always put Allah first, so I will say that it is Allah graces and mercifulness”, he added.

Touching on why marrying the three at a spot, he explained that it will help him to cut down cost and its related expenses.

Though the ceremony seems to be a historic one in the region, Alhaji Mumuni stressed that a similar thing happened in the North East Region sometime ago.

“I will not say I’m the first person to do such a ceremony. A similar thing happened in Walewale. So, it is not something that’s too big, so, I call on friends and family members to join me that day.”

The ceremony he said will be done in the Islamic wedding at his Palace in Zuarungu.
