The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bongo, Joseph Abaa Akasake, together with key stakeholders in the district and representatives of the Coastal States Stability Mechanism (CSSM), has held a colorful handing-over ceremony to present general engineering tools and equipment to the Bongo Technical Institute.
The initiative aims to boost Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Bongo District and beyond.
The principal of the institute expressed profound gratitude to the government and CSSM for the donation and assured that the machines would be put to optimal use to enhance practical teaching and learning. The items donated include a generator set, oven, gas cannisters among others.
The event was graced by the Paramount Chief of Bongo, representatives from the Regional Education Directorate, and the Bongo District Education Directorate.
