The Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, Simon Akibange Aworigo, has emerged as the highest-rated MP in the Upper East Region and ranked fourth nationally in the latest Global InfoAnalytics Constituency Performance Survey.
The June 2026 survey, which assessed public perceptions of MPs across 83 constituencies, found that 93 percent of respondents in Navrongo Central rated Mr. Aworigo’s performance as excellent, very good or good.
His constituency trailed only Nsawam/Adoagyiri, which recorded a 98 percent positive rating, and Tolon and Tain, which each recorded 94 percent.
The Upper East Region had three MPs in the national top 20.
Talensi MP Daniel Dung Mahama ranked 16th nationally with a 78 percent positive rating, while Builsa South MP and Deputy Minister for Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, placed 20th with 77 percent.
In Navrongo Central, only one percent of respondents rated the MP’s performance as poor or very poor. Talensi recorded 10 percent in the same category, while Builsa South recorded 23 percent.
According to Global InfoAnalytics, respondents were asked to rate the performance of their MPs under four categories: excellent, very good or good; average; poor or very poor; and no opinion.
The polling firm said the survey was conducted in June 2026 across 83 constituencies to assess constituents’ perceptions of the performance of their elected representatives.
Nsawam/Adoagyiri MP Frank Annoh-Dompreh emerged as the highest-rated MP among those assessed, while Asene/Manso/Akroso recorded the lowest positive rating.
