The Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive, Roland Atanga Ayoo, has announced the completion of Kindergarten blocks at Yorogo Gaabisi and Dorongo Aperiga, with the facilities expected to be handed over to the Ghana Education Service (GES) soon.

Mr. Ayoo disclosed this during an inspection tour of completed and ongoing projects in the Bolgatanga Municipality.

According to the MCE, the two facilities form part of efforts to improve access to early childhood education, particularly in rural communities within the municipality.

“The Yorogo Gaabisi KG is completed. The Dorongo Aperiga KG is completed and very soon, they will be handed over to the Ghana Education Service,” he said.

Mr. Ayoo said the completion of the facilities would provide children in the beneficiary communities with improved access to education and a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.

“I think that a number of schools, especially in the rural communities, especially KGs, have been completed. And the young ones will also have access to some level of education.”

According to the MCE, the KG blocks are among projects being undertaken in the municipality with funding from the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF).

He reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to providing infrastructure that directly improves the lives of residents across the municipality.

The new KG facilities are expected to provide improved learning environments for pupils in the Yorogo Gaabisi and Dorongo Aperiga communities once they are handed over to the GES.
