Nabdam NDC Communications Officer James Tenga eyes Constituency Secretary position

After nearly 12 years as Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Nabdam Constituency, James Tenga has declared his intention to contest the position of Constituency Secretary.

Mr. Tenga says the move represents the next phase of his political journey after more than a decade working in party communication, grassroots mobilisation and organisation.

He believes his years as Communications Officer have given him a deeper understanding of the NDC’s structures in Nabdam and the organisational demands of running an effective constituency secretariat.

Over the years, Mr. Tenga has been involved in communicating the party’s programmes and positions and engaging with its grassroots structures across the constituency.

He says he intends to draw on that experience to strengthen coordination within the party and make the constituency secretariat more responsive to members.

According to Mr. Tenga, contesting the Secretary position is an ambition he has nurtured for several years and believes the time is right to pursue it.

His declaration moves him from his long-standing role in the party’s communications wing into the contest for one of the key administrative positions within the Nabdam NDC.
