Casper Sunday Kampoli, the Upper East Regional Communications Officer-elect of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to execute his mandate effectively, declaring that “it shall be done, and done well” after going unopposed in the upcoming regional elections.
In a statement expressing gratitude to party members and stakeholders, Mr Kampoli said his unopposed status reflected the trust and confidence reposed in him by the party in the region.
He thanked the regional and constituency executives, grassroots members and other stakeholders for the confidence shown in him, describing his election as an honour that came with a responsibility to deliver on the party’s expectations.
“The best form of gratitude will be to execute my mandate to the best of my ability so as to achieve the aims and aspirations of the NDC and its members in the Upper East Region. My pledge to you is that it shall be done, and done well!” he stated.
Mr Kampoli said he would focus on strategic and proactive political communication to strengthen the party, promote its shared vision and sustain the NDC’s Agenda 15/15 in the Upper East Region.
He, however, acknowledged that achieving these objectives would require the collective efforts of party members and called for their continued and unwavering support as he prepares to assume the role.
The Regional Communications Officer-elect also recognised the contributions of his predecessors, describing them as experienced individuals whose knowledge would be valuable to his work.
He said he intended to seek their advice and draw on their experience as he works to build on their achievements.
Mr Kampoli expressed gratitude to the NDC family and the people of the Upper East Region for the confidence reposed in him, adding that he was counting on God for wisdom, knowledge, strength and guidance in carrying out his responsibilities.
He reiterated his commitment to working with party members towards their shared objectives, expressing confidence that collective effort would be key to achieving success.
