Ghana’s ace reggae presenter on Hits FM and reggae artist Blakk Rasta has lashed out at dancehall artist Bandana now known as Shatta Wale on his reggae programme Taxi Driver on Monday 29th July, 2013 saying ‘’I have respect for bandana’s talent, not his attitude’’.

In an exclusive interview with the entertainment desk of A1 Radio in the Upper East Region, Blakk Rasta said he made that statement on his show because of the attitude Bandana has been putting up in recent times. He related his comment to recent attitude of the said artist after the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and Maiden edition of the Buzz Awards held in Accra to honour reggae and dancehall artistes in Ghana.

Blakk Rasta said Shatta Wale had the rights to complain if he was not satisfied with the fact that the reggae dancehall artistes of the year award was given to Kaakie. According to him, Shatta Wale  should have done it in an  acceptable way and not to come and start using terms like ‘’Bomboclat’’ which he personally finds inappropriate and unnecessary. He also commented on the attitude Shatta Wale put up at the just ended maiden edition of the Buzz Awards in Accra. Blakk Rasta said Shatta Wale used the term ‘’Bomboclat’’ again during a stage performance.

Blakk Rasta at the end said Wale should put humility first in life else he will not go far in the music scene. He also promised he will be coming to the Upper East Region very soon for the third time on his second album tour.
