NPP Promise Equal Distribution of National Cake

Acting national chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddy Blay has reminded members of the elephant party the need to remain united in order to pave way for President Akuffo Ado to restore the integrity of the country.

According to him the many programs the party promised during the electioneering period when fully implemented will cleanse the mess the Mahama led administration created before leaving office.

But achieving these policies, Mr. Blay added demands a steadfast and a united front from party members and Ghanaians at large. The acting national chairman of the NPP made these remarks in Bolgatanga when he was speaking to members and sympathizers of the party during its Upper East regional delegate’s conference held in Bolgatanga.

“They [NDC] were wrong, their leadership [were] very corrupt. They did not manage the economy very well, they were not discipline. We are discipline [and] we are ready to manage the economy and not as corrupt as they are. All opportunities in this country, we will share it [to] reach all of us in this country”

Acting General Secretary of the party, John Boadu who reiterated the purpose of unity of its members entreats them to devoid backbiting and forged towards developing the country. Mr. Boadu on occasion also called on members of the party to rally their support to all appointees and elected leaders of the party and in governance to help implement the promises the party made to Ghanaians.  He has therefore charged party faithfuls in the Upper East region to work assiduously to improve the party fortunes in the coming elections.

Mentioning the party’s policies such as the 1 million dollar per constituency, 1 factory per district and a dam each in all villages in Northern Ghana, Upper East regional minister Rockson Bukari in his welcome address admonished party members to remain united and help develop the region. He admonished them to constructively criticize the party and government leaders while managing the party internal information.

The regional annual delegate’s conference which is a stalk taking platform brought together national and regional executives, Members of Parliament, Municipal and District Chief Executives, party elders and well wishers of the party.

A minute silence was observed in honor of late Adams Mahama, former Upper East regional chairman who died on 21st of May 2015.
