The Regional Chairman of the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), Michael Ayereboya has said the Association is ready for an out of court settlement in their case against the Ghana Education Service.

NAGRAT is in court challenging the power of the Ghana Education Service to exempt NAGRAT from a committee investigating rioting of students at the Zuarungu Senior High School in the Upper East region.

But speaking to A1 Radio news, Michael Ayereboya indicated that the Association is open for an out of court settlement should the Ghana Education Service approach them with a good offer.

“We are open for an out of court settlement with the Ghana Education Service. We will accept if the offer is good and our members appreciate it. It should be a good offer and we will go for it”.

He mentioned that the case has been adjudged to August 22 because the Ghana Education Service did not have a representation in court.
