Abaah Anongisira Irene, a student of the University of Development Studies from the Upper East Region qualifies to the next stage of the Miss Tourism Ghana Beauty Pageant according to information reaching the entertainment desk of A1 Radio in the Upper East Region.
Irene together with other three (3) young ladies was selected from the region for the national auditioning in the greater Accra region which took place on Saturday 3rd August, 2013. The four ladies namely; Abaah Anongisira Irene, Salifu Azeko Tayiba, Adongo Patience and Adabayeri Azemba Joyce were auditioned on Saturday with other thirty-six (36) ladies from the other nine (9) regions in Ghana.
News reaching A1 entertainment indicates that, all the qualified contestants from the various regions were auditioned by last years Miss Tourism Ghana winner.
The four contestants from the Upper East Region expressed their delight when Deejay Lexis host of Sunset Drive on A1 Radio spoke to them in an exclusive interview on Sunday morning. Irene could not hold back her joy on her qualification to the next stage of the competition. She used the opportunity to urge her colleagues who could not make it, not to give up.
The other three (3) ladies from the region wished her the best of luck and promised to support her all the way to the top.
