Former Deputy Agric Minister, William Quaitoo has said he will go on an “I am sorry” tour of the Northern part of Ghana for his ethnocentric comments against the people of Northern Ghana.
The Member of Parliament for Akim Oda in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM said “I’m considering going up North and beg Northerners especially Yendi where they have the overlord…you know they contributed so much in shaping my life, my whole childhood I grew up in the North and spent most of my life in the North so I have no reason to insult them, I’m very sorry for what happened”.
William Quaitoo resigned from his position as Deputy Minister for Agriculture following his description of northerners as “difficult” people who are fond of “lying” to get what they want.
