Founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party, Akua Donkor has said the President, Nana Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia are gay partners.
The farmer turned politician made this allegation in an interview with ghanacrusader.com in Accra on Monday after the President’s interview with Aljezeera on the subject sparked debate on several media platforms in the country.
The President during the interview said “I don’t believe that in Ghana, so far, a sufficiently strong coalition has emerged which is having that impact on public opinion that will say: ‘Change it [the law], let’s then have a new paradigm in Ghana”.
“I think it is something that is bound to happen like elsewhere in the world, they are activities of individuals or groups.”
But the leader of Ghana Freedom Party and friend of former President, John Dramani Mahama, Akua Donkor is of the view that “with the opportunity that the president had he should have condemned such acts but he rather expressed the optimism for legalization in the near future. That’s so unfortunate.”
“I can tell you on authority that the president and his vice Bawumia are gays. In fact, Bawumia is a disgrace to all Muslims and the president is also an embarrassment to Christendom,” she added.
