The Professional League Board has announced that the 2017/2018 league season will kickstart on February 9.
Aduana Stars the league holders will start their title defence with an encounter at home against Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals whiles Kumasi Asante Kotoko will play away to WAFA.
The first leg of the local “EL Classico” will take place on match day ten with Hearts of Oak serving as visitors to Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Kumasi.
