Former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings has disclosed that it took him five years to win the heart of his wife, Nana Agyemang Konadu Rawlings.
According to him, while “chasing” her, she was always hostile towards him but knowing his goal and what he wanted to achieve, he never gave up until he was able to win her love.
“I’ve suffered. I had to keep up with her friends in order to win her heart. So one day when I came from school I invited her but I thought she won’t come. She came and this time she was not hostile like she used to be towards me.”
