classroom blockA three-unit classroom block constructed by Lahaad Construction limited at the Tindonmolgo Electoral area in the Bolgatanga Municipality has not been handed over for its purpose.

The school constructed three years ago with funding from the Ghana Education Trust Fund comes with a staff common room and a toilet facility at a cost of Ghc 86,428.61.

This is the only school in the Tindonmolgo Electoral. It is fully furnished with furniture and comes as a relief to children in the area, who commute daily to neighboring communities to attend school as well as children from Tindonsobligo and some parts of Dorongo.

Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive, Edward Ayiriba Ayagle on Friday at a dialogue meeting with the people of the Tindonmolgo and Tindonsobligo communities urged the community members to put the school block to good use.

Assembly member for the Tindonmolgo Electoral area, Agana Bawa Rashid in an interview with A1 news said he was not consulted before the construction of the school – a situations he was not happy about. He added that the school could have been in use earlier than now if he had been consulted as assembly man for the area but there are some people in the area who played party politics with the putting up of the school, which led to the delay its construction.

Meanwhile another school block which was put up to the roofing level for people of Tindonmolgo by former Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central,  David Apasera has been left to rot with the excuse that it is not in good shape.
