It appears the Shatta Movement, Dancehall king hit maker, Shatta Wale, is not slowing down with his releases as the year is drawing to an end. Same can be said about his battle for the dancehall crown with Samin.
In his latest release titled King of DC featuring Sonni Balli, , Shatta Wale from the lyrics seems to be continuing with his war with Samini gaining the support of Sonni Balli who appears to be endorsing the talent of the SM4Lyf artiste.
The Video was shot on location in the UK at a car park.
Not long ago, Samini released “Still Burning” ft Sonni Balli, the man he bears so much resemblance with and owes a lot as well. It is therefore not clear however, if the release of Shatta Wale’s King of DC also ft Sonni Balli is a direct reply to Samini.
The battle for who is the real dancehall king in Ghana has reached tensed limits with lyrical and counter abuse by the two artist soaring.
At the just passed Guinness Big Eruption event, where Samini was widely reported to have floored Shatta Wale, the lyrical war seems to have heightened with fans of both artistes also joining in the dispute.
