Upper East regional manager of waste management company, Zoomlion Ghana Limited, Issaka Abubakari has expressed worry at the rate at which refuse bins belonging to the company are being burnt in the region.
In an exclusive interview with A1 News, Mr. Abubakari said the burning of the plastic waste bins that his company provided at various points of the region is alarming. According to him, these acts are creating loses for Zoomlion because it is expensive to procure the containers.
 He was however grateful to residents of the region for their cooperation since the company was establishment in the region in 2007. Mr. Abubakari also appealed to the general public to take the issue of sanitation serious in order to promote good health and called on people to stop burning rubbish in the metal waste bins.
