Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary race in Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Emmanuel Aphour has said his desire to represent his constituents in parliament is to extend massive development in all spheres of the constituency.
The retired public servant said his aspiration to contest to become a member of parliament was not borne out of personal interest but the interest of the constituents.
Mr. Aphour indicated that he is the only candidate in the NPP race who has the influence to woo floating voters in order to wrestle power from the NDC.
“Emmanuel Aphour is a unifier, all he thinks of is Bolga. He thinks of bringing everybody on board. Every NDC, PNC, CPP member is not my opponent. NPP as a party is not enough in terms of numbers to win the seat in Bolga, we need our brothers and sisters from the other parties, and that is what I have that the others don’t have”.

He spoke to A1 News during the launch of his campaign in Bolgatanga on Sunday. The launching brought together zonal chair persons and electoral area coordinators as well as well-wishers of the parliamentary candidate.
Mr. Aphour promises to ensure equal opportunity for residents in the area of employment and girl-child empowerment if he wins the parliamentary slot.
