Ghana which has been seen as the Beacon of Democracy in the African Continent has lost it’s shine under the administration of the New Patriotic Party ,NPP. This is according to the Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress ,NDC Godwin Ako Gunn.
The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has been blamed and accused of allowing the abuse of human rights under his regime.
Mr Ako Gunn who was speaking in an interview with Emmanuel Aboagye on Daybreak Upper East expressed surprise that a President touted as a ‘Human Rights Activist’ was leading a crusade to torment lives of some Ghanaians especially political opponents.
Citing the arrest of Sammy Gyamfi for allegedly engaging in cyber crime , he said the action and manner of his arrest was tyrannical.
