According to her, though times and nature have not been favorable to Ghana,She was optimistic that this Ramadan will surely bring brighter fortunes for the country to bounce back to a stronger and healthier foundation.

“It has been another one holy mouth of prayer, fasting and alma giving by Muslim of all sets across the world. The period is one of the most important events on the Islamic calendar which all Muslims are enjoined by the Holy Prophet Mohammed ( peace be upon Him) to observe. As the solemn period comes to an end, I wish to congratulate all Muslims in the Upper East Region on the attainment of another spiritual milestone. Surely , we have matured in our spirituality over the period, drawing us closer and acceptable to the Holy Prophet Mohammed ( Peace be uponHim) and our neighbors” She said.

The Minster however lamented the severity of the Coronavirus that has forced world leaders to implement stringent measures on a society that has been sociable to be separated in diverse ways.

“We have not reached the feast of Eid-ul-fitr on a silver platter. Indeed nuture itself has been that favourable to us this year as we continue to get separated from one another by a global that knows no bounds. It compelled leaders to institute discomforting measures albeit for the good of the population. I am happy to note that the Muslim community in the region are cooperating in the observance of the protocols designed to prevent Covid 19” She lamented.

Meanwhile, Madam Tangoba has used this Ramanan as an opportunity to remind Ghanaians to remain resolute despite the economic constraints because, there is a brighter light at the end of the tunnel to make their lives better.

“As we celebrate Eid-ul-fitr somewhat on low key this year, let us remain resolute; we are only constrainted but not broken. There is light at the end of the tunnel and we should the virtues cultivated during Ramadan spur us on to the end. Let us therefore remain measured in the celebration of this festiveoccasion by continuously adhering to the preventive protocol.Happy Eid-ul-fitr to all Muslims” Madam Tangoba observed.
