The Executive Director of the Henry Djaba Memorial Foundation and Former Minister of Gender,Children and Social Protection Mrs. Otiko Afisah Djaba is demanding a retraction and an unqualified apology of a false news publication purported to have been sanctioned by her.
In the said false publication attributed to her, Mrs. Djaba is alleged to have called the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party, Benard Antwi Bosiako, alias Chairman Wontumi a ‘bushman’ over his comments against the National Democratic Congress(NDC) running mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman.
But in a statement sighted by A1 NEWS, Mrs. Djaba urged the public to treat the false publication with the greatest contempt it deserves.
Mrs. Otiko expressed that, though such false and malicious publication has caused embarrassment to her person, she will consider legal redress when necessary.
