Give Nana Addo four more years to do more for Ghana- Deputy NDA CEO

The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority (NDA), Patrick Seidu, has appealed to Ghanaian electorates to renew the mandate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming 2020 general elections to improve the livelihoods of Ghanaians.

According to him, the NPP government under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has executed many developmental projects to improve the living standards of residents in communities of Northern Ghana.

Speaking on A1 Radio’s Personality Profile, Mr. Seidu appealed to the electorates particularly in the five regions of the North who have benefited enormously from government’s social intervention programmes and policies to vote massively to retain the party in power to better their lots.

He reiterated that, government’s pro-poor policies and programmes such as; One-Village-One-Dam, Free Senior High Education, Planting for food and Jobs, One-District-One Warehouse among other interventions remain game chargers that has created jobs and prosperity for many Ghanaians, particularly in the North.

“Politics is about development, it is about who or which government makes live better at the environment you find yourself.

So, I know this government under President Nana Akuffo Addo has committed enough resources aimed at improving the quality of lives among the Ghanaian populace. Yes, we may have different views and expectations of this government, but what has been given to us in our various communities can’t be measured by any past government”.

He added that, the NDA established under the NPP government  has undertaken many developmental projects also geared at improving the plight of residents in beneficiary communities.

“In the Upper East Region here, 156 projects have been allocated to be completed this year; talk of Sakote dam desilting project currently awarded on contract, In Tempane, a dam has been awarded and works have commenced. In terms of roads, my outfit has worked on many of them both on reshaping and virgin constructions”.

Mr. Seidu hinted that, the NPP government with its development oriented track record in the past three years has more to offer Ghanaians when retained for the next four years.

He therefore, appealed to the electorates to vote massively for the NPP for better development and prosperity of Ghana.
