Upper East Regional Deputy Communication Director of the governing New Patriotic Party Johnson Ayine, has chided the Bolgatanga Central Member of Parliament Isaac Adongo for not contributing to the development of his former school Zamse Senior High Technical School.

Speaking on A1 Radio’s ‘Daybreak Upper East, Mr. Ayine stressed, that, the legislator has not contributed his quota to the development of his former school as MP.

“If you go to Zamstech today, Isaac Adongo alma-mater, he has not even donated a chair to them, I have made some enquiries from the teachers in that school, to know whether he has come to make some donation to the school since he became the Member of Parliament, but they said he hasn’t made any donation to the school.

But anyone can go to Zamstech today, close to STC yard, they will surely see a first class completed dormitory put up by the Akufo Addo led government”.

“If the NPP were to be thinking like the NDC, who like building borden in the bush and day school in bushes, we would have also decided to put those two Zamstech facilities in different location and also call it a Senior High School. But we said no, because Zamstech have enjoyed some successes, so is better to expand it”.

Mr. Ayine was responding to Dr. Bawumia’s promises of building 16 model SHSs in Zongo communities across the country.

He was confident that, the promises made by the Vice President of the Republic will be accomplished if given another opportunity by Ghanaians.
