“The executive council has been looking at how to provide the basic infrastructure, the basic logistics for the sporting lovers in the Upper East Region. In line with that, we have been working closing with FIFA to see how we can help our sporting folks in the region with a football pitch with floodlighting. So, we are very happy today, to be here and very grateful for the chiefs and people for giving us this land.”

This blessing of a 6.5 arch of land is unprecedented for which reason when I had the confirmation from our dear chairman about the land,  I said to my board members that this will be the first GfA’s infrastructural investment to start in the Upper East Region with support from the FIFA Forward1.0 projects to build an AstroTurf pitch with floodlight”
