Two Female National Teams undergo Covid-19 test

Members of the Black Maidens (Momen U-17) and Black Princesses (Momen U-20) players, technical team members and officials have gone through the compulsory Covid-19 test in Cape Coast.

Testing of players and officials is a key requirement to be met before resuming the field of play, according to FIFA and CAF.

The teams are beginning camping for their respective competitions.

The Princesses will play Guinea Bissau in a 2021 FIFA U-20 Women’s World cup qualifier whiles the Maidens prepare for Nigeria in October 2020 for a World Cup qualifier.

The maidens triumph over Liberia 10-0 in a two legged encounter is a morale booster for them ahead of the Nigeria game.
