WOMEN UNDER U-20 TEAM

Seven Female National Team players of Ghana in camp – four Black Maidens (U-17) and three Black Princesses (U-20) have tested positive for Covid-19.

The government of Ghana gave special immunity to the two national teams to start preparations for their respective World Cup Qualifiers with restrictions still in force.

The seven positive players will be isolated for management, while a second round of test will be done in two weeks to ascertain their statuses.

Testing of players is a key requirement for the resumption of football according to FIFA and CAF

Meanwhile, CAF has rescheduled the qualifiers due to travel restrictions in some countries due to Covid-19.
