Ahead of the December 2020 polls, the Convention Peoples Party’s (CPP) parliamentary candidate for the Zebilla constituency, Benjamin Anafo, says, he is optimistic of winning the Zebilla constituency seat for the party.
Mr. Benjamin Anafo, who doubles as the party’s Regional Secretary said, he is the only alternative left for constituents as both the constituency’s NDC and NPP members of parliament have failed to propel development in the area .
Mr. Anafo, spoke in an interview with A1 NEWS at the Regional CPP National delegates congress in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.
“The youth in Zebilla, need someone who is young and vibrant and can represent them in parliament. You know we have the Honorable Cletus Abule he’s been there for several years, he has staged a come back. we also have the NPP MP who is Honorable Franck Adongo, he also went to parliament but the youth in Zebilla have not seen his work, his work is not visible, he doesn’t represent the youth and the constituents in parliament.
And because of that, the youth need someone who is serious and vibrant like me, they don’t matter where that person comes from, any party the person come from, once they believe and trust in, they are ready to vote for that person and I am the one they are looking for.”
Mr. Anafo, appealed to the party for financial and logistical assistance to deliver the Zebilla seat for the party.
