Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah will on Tuesday, November 10, begin a campaign tour of the Upper East Region ahead of the December polls.
Upper East Regional Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jerry Asamani Aladago, in a satement said Dr. Bawumia will tour parts of the Region until Thursday, November 12.
While in the Region, he will interact with traditional rulers, the general public as well as NPP members.
According to the statement, the Vice President on the first day will interact with chiefs and people of Shirigu and Mirigu; both in the Chiana /Paga District.
He will subsequently move to Builsa South and Navrongo Central.
On Wednesday, Dr. Bawumia is expected to visit Bazua in the Binduri District where he will inspect a Mechanised Infantry Battalion and interact with chiefs and people of the area.
He will later proceed to Zaare and Bugri in Garu and Tempani districts respectively.
On the last day, Dr. Bawumia will move to Bongo, Sakoti in Nabdam District, Zurungu in Bolga East District and finally round up his tour at Sherga in the Talensi District.
