No partial lockdown but..- Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced that he will not declare a partial lockdown in spite of increasing cases of Covid-19.

However, he has indicated that he will not hesitate to have a change of mind if Ghanaians continue to ignore safety protocols.

In his address to the nation Sunday evening, the president reaffirmed his earlier decision that all public and private schools from creche to secondary will reopen on Monday January 18, 2021.

Already, tertiary institutions have reopened in spite of the increasing cases of the virus.

Entreating Ghanaians to observe all Covid-19 protocols, President Akufo-Addo, disclosed that he has directed the Inspector General of Police to enforce a legal framework put in to ensure people observe Covid-19 protocols including putting on face masks in all public places.
