The total number of deaths recorded in Ghana since the outbreak of Covid-19 in the country in March 2020 is now 390; according to the Ghana Health Service.
Confirmed cases in the country now also stand at 63,883. So far, 59,553 infected persons are now known to have recovered from the virus.
On its Covid-19 dedicated website, the Ghana Health Service indicated new cases as of Friday January 29 were 625 with 3,940 active cases.
Greater Accra Region tops in the number of cases as the region has recorded 37,117 cases. followed closely is the Ashanti Region with 11,895.
