Regentropfen Education Foundation of Ghana, through its “Safe a life today” project has donated 150 water bottles to pupils at the Regentropfen Basic School, a private school in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region.

Acting Head of Administration and Business Development at the Regentropfen Education Foundation, Robert Anaba who presented the bottles to the school on half of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of of the foundation, Dr. Father Moses Asaah Awinongya SVE, said the move seeks to support students in deprived communities in the Upper East region; targeting 2,500 beneficiaries.

“Regentropfen Education Foundation’s aim is to support young children particularly those in school. Today we are given them water bottles to help them have clean water in school every day, and to also help them keep their body hydrated; particularly this season of CSM and this dry weather. That is the main idea behind this water bottles project.

And Regentropfen Basic School happens to be the first beneficiary of this project. Our target is 2,500 students, today we are presenting 150 bottles and in the coming days we will continue with the distribution to other schools as well.” He explained.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the pupils, Head Teacher of the Regentropfen Basic School, Prince Kwapong, thanked the foundation for the gesture; saying the donated water bottles will go a long way to help the pupils because many of them report to school without their own water.
