District Chief Executive of the Bolgatanga East Constituency, Professor Emmanuel Abole has defended his actions of retrieving motorbikes that were given to party boys to aid in the campaign process during the 2020 elections.
According to him, the said motorbikes were given to the party boys to help them do monitoring on the election day, and they knew that they were to return the motorbikes after the election.
The Bolgatanga East District Chief Executive said he only asked the persons who were given the motorbikes to return them and was surprised at the turnout of events.
The DCE told A1 Radio that he was disappointed in how members of the party in the constituency have behaved towards his decision to call for the return of the motorbikes.
