Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Talensi in the Upper East region, Solomon T.T.B, has stated that the NDC will resolve every election dispute on the streets when Ghana goes for its next general elections come 2024.

Mr. T.T.B who expressed worry over some decisions of the Supreme Court in the proceedings of the ongoing election petition, said, the 2024 elections is not one that the NDC will resort to seeking redress of its concerns at the courts but the party will rather ensure it resolves every election dispute on the streets and at the various polling stations.

“In 2024, if God gives us long life, every election dispute would be resolved on the streets- yes, it would be resolved on the streets and at the polling stations.”

To make his case, he made reference to instances reported to have happened in the 2020 elections; indicating the NDC’s strong resolve to up it’s game come 2024.

‘Don’t I have the right to demonstrate, don’t I have the right to protect myself and make sure that nobody cheats at my polling station? Don’t I have the right that during counting, if EC boss asks me to go and see president Mahama and do whatever, I will never go? Don’t I have the right to make sure that every figure that is coming- you will not declare results until we’re all satisfied? He asked show host of A1 Radio’s Daybreak Upper East Program, Samuel Mbura.
