Ghanaian Reggae Musician cum Radio Presenter, Abubakar Ahmed popularly called Blakk Rasta, has said that God is not enthused with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, following the preference of constructing a National Cathedral to the provision of essential basic amenities for the poor Ghanaian.

According to the ‘Barack Obama’ hitmaker, one of the priorities of the ordinary Ghanaian child is quality and accessible education, but leadership is not somehow committed to providing such, especially to the Ghanaian school child from deprived communities in the country.

He argued that: “…we have a Finance Minister who fell ill and had to run all the way to America and some other places for treatment: why didn’t he run into that Cathedral for treatment? Why are students not running into the cathedral to get books and pens?”

Speaking on A1 Radio’s CITYBUS Reggae Show with Jonathan Abugbilla alias Ital, Blakk Rasta said: “If manner could fall out of the roof of the cathedral, then we would understand. The long and short of it is that even God is angry with Nana [President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo]. How can you build a cathedral when people are dying?”

Blakk Rasta believes that Upper East, Upper West, and Northern Regions are the most neglected regions in the country, therefore Ghanaian leaders should channel resources and attention to the development of these areas.
