The predicament of the people of Azoribisi a suburb of Sumburungu in the Bolgatanga Municipality in accessing healthcare delivery is now a thing of the past as leading telecommunication giant in Ghana MTN, through its Foundation has provided the community with a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound. The Ghc 180,000 CHPS compound will serve 10 communities of a population of 5,351 people. Members of the community until the establishment of the CHPS compound had to seek health service at the nearest health center which is the Sumburungu health center a distance of about 5 kilometers from Azoribisi.

Assembly member of the community, Victor Apomina recounted the community ordeal saying many pregnant women in the community have lost their lives due to the unmotoble roads from the community to the nearest health center. Mr. Apomina said the provision of the health center by MTN is a relief. The facility has an Out-Patient-Department (OPD), consulting rooms, delivery room, labor ward and accommodation for the staff.
