Government has announced it’s intension to upgrade airports in Sunyani,Tamale and Kumasi.
Feasibility studies have also been commenced for the construction of an airport in Cape Coast.
Whereas, Yendi, Mole, Apowa-Mpohor ,Kate Karachi and Navrongo-Paga have been identified for the construction of aerodromes through a Public,Private Partnership (PPP) deal.
This was contained in the 2021 budget presented by the caretaker finance minister, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu . So A1radionline.com took a visit to the selected aerodrome site in Navrongo-Paga of the Upper East Region to observe the selected site.
