Former Chief Executive Officer for the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme(NEIP) ,Lawyer John Ampontuah Kumah has asked the public to ignore the list purported to be from the Presidency on the appointment of deputy ministers.
The Chronicle newspaper reported on Monday, March 15, 2021, that
the Ejisu lawmaker was part of a list 40 deputy ministers appointed by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
John Kumah according to the report, has been assigned to Ministry of Employment as a deputy minister.
But in an interview on Daybreak Upper East(DBUE), the Ejisu Constituency MP debunked the rumour describing it as “speculations”.
“These are all speculations, we’ve to wait for his Excellency the President to come out with his official list” he said.
He however indicated that “If the President finds me worthy to assist in his government, I will gladly do so”.
