A communicator with the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP), in the Upper East Region, Wilson Dabuo has urged Ghanaians especially the People in the region to appreciate the efforts of the NPP government in terms of its huge borrowing.

According to him, the government is not borrowing to spend on kenkey and fish but to cushion the lives of the ordinary Ghanaians through innovative development.

Speaking on A1 Radio, the communicator noted that they as NPP agreed that they have borrowed, but they are equally investing the same into the lives of Ghanaians.

“When it comes to the issues of debts in this country, the NDC should not be the ones talking about it because we are not just borrowing as they did in 8 years. We are borrowing wisely, and bring to bear the development of this country. We have the country at heart and one can see that through the massive development happening in every community.”

Surprised as he claimed, Mr. Dabuo explained that the NPP government inherited the country at a difficult time and could not have performed more than what it has delivered to Ghanaians.

He said, “Sometimes, I don’t like doing comparison but if it was to be any other government that was in power in this difficult COVID-19 pandemic era, we all would have been in hell. So, what I’m urging is that Ghanaians should have trust and rally behind this government to develop the country together. Stop listening to the propaganda tactics our colleagues from the NDC are doing and rally for development.”
