UCL: Lewandowski out of Champions League clash against PSG

Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski was confirmed injured during international duties with his country Poland.

The Poland national team’s skipper got injured in his Country’s World cup qualifiers against Andorra last Sunday 28th March, which ended in a 3-0 victory for Poland.

The Polish and Bayern front-man scored a brace for his side in the first half of the game, before getting substituted on the 63rd minutes due to an injury.

Bayern Munich has now confirmed the current UEFA and FIFA best player is out of action for 4 weeks with a knee ligament.

The news means, Lewandowski is out of Bayern mouthwatering Champions league clashed with French outfit Paris Saint Germain, in both legs which is due next month on the 7th and 13 April 2021 respectively.

Lewandowski will also miss Bundesliga games against Leipzig, Union Berlin, Wolfsburg, Leverkusen and Mainz. The striker will also be a doubt for the first leg of the Champions League semifinal against Manchester City or Dortmund if Bayern advance.
