The Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Dr. Kwaku Afriyie on Tuesday paid a working visit to the Builsa South District in the Upper East Region to commission a 75 acre fenced rangeland for cattle rearing under the sustainable Land and Water Management Project.
The project has also provided a solar-powered mechanized borehole as well as drinking troughs for the animals.
Dr. Kwaku Afriyie additionally handed over a tricycle to the committee in charge of the Rangeland management.
The project which is intended to promote cattle rearing will support the government policy on rearing for food and jobs.
