Five Senior High Schools in the Upper East Region have qualified for this year’s National Championship of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
They are; Notre Dame Senior High School in Navrongo, Bolgatanga Senior School at Wikongo near Bolgatanga, Bongo Senior High School in Bongo, Sandema Senior High School in Sandema, and Zebilla Senior High School in Zebilla.
The five schools have therefore, joined Navrongo Senior High School (NAVASCO) which is among the 27 schools that gained automatic qualification this year because they reached the quarter final stage in the last year’s competition.
All the schools will also compete in the Northern Zonal competition.
The NSMQ is an initiative of the Ghana Education with support from Absa Bank.
