The roof of one of the Boys’ Dormitories of Sandema Senior High/Technical School in the Upper East region has been riped off by a heavy storm.
According to the information which was posted on the Facebook wall of the school, the entire roof of the building plus the beams and columns were completely ripped off.
The building in question was built in President Acheampong’s era when the school was established.
The post further stated that school authorities have relocated the affected boys to other dormitories. This has caused overcrowding in such COVID-19 times.
School authorities are calling on the Ministry of Education, GETFUND and philanthropists to help restore the affected boys dormitory.
