The Minority leader in Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Haruna Iddrisu has unfollowed the self-acclaimed Ghanaian Dancehall King, Shatta Wale over his recent uncalled for, unfortunate, uncultured Facebook comment regarding the killing of some youth in the Ejura Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The self-seeking musician on his Facebook page said those who are demonstrating in the wake of the killing of one Mr Kaaka Ibrahim Mohammed, #fixthecountry campaigner are educated fools and disappointed graduates hence should fix themselves first before calling on the government.

He said in his post “Educated fools and disappointed graduates saying #Fixthecountry
Fix yourself, cheap thinkers🩸”

His comment, however, is generating controversies amongst many especially those who have the country at heart.

Expressing his feelings towards the musician’s post on Facebook, the Member of Parliament for Tamale South and the former Minister for Employment and Labour Relation has said that he has unfollowed him.

He said “Unfollow Shatta Wale (Charles Nii Armah Mensah). He is disrespecting the very youth that made him successful in his career.”

Meanwhile, the lawmaker among other members including some NPP MPs in Parliament is condemning the actions of the military personnel in handling the Ejura youth protest and has called on the government to bring to book the perpetrators.
