The move will also help curb water born diseases among others that children of deprived communities are likely to be infected with by sharing cups.

“We are embarking on a project call ‘save a life today’ and as part of this project we are targeting schools at the villages where we have many underprivileged children. And with this water bottles if they always fill them with water it will help them have more contact hours and so more time for their studies, because they will no more be going out during class periods in search of water. And with these bottles we believe it will help the children to be healthy and stay safe from all kinds of disease especially water born diseases” he noted.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the pupils, the Head Teacher of the Nangodi Basic School, Vincent Anafo thanked the Regentropfen Education Foundation, for the gesture, saying that the donated water bottles will go a long way to help both teachers and pupils to have effective class periods in the Nangodi Basic school because many of the pupils report to school without their own water.
