The Upper East Regional Correspondent of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Mr. Samuel Ayammah has lashed out at owners of stray animals in the Bolgatanga Municipality for failing to control their animals.

The journalist who doubles as a pepper farmer in the Municipality, sent a strong-worded caution to owners of animals, especially cattle to control them.

He said the animals had destroyed portions of his farm and wondered if he would get a bumper harvest as compared to his yield last year.

“The cattle invaded my farm this morning and destroyed almost everything. I am very angry. I told the owner to control them, but he will not listen,” Mr. Ayammah told colleague journalists in Bolgatanga.

The Correspondent further called on colleague journalists in the Region to educate members of the public on the need to control animals in the region as farming activities were at its peak.

Even though some journalists who had over the years benefitted from his pepper, jokingly teased him on the havoc caused by the cattle, they however sympathized with him and advised him to get a farm guide to protect his farm.
