Bolgatanga: BOTECH Vice Principal who died in car accident laid to rest

The body of the late Vice Principal in-charge of Administration at the Bolgatanga Technical Institute (BOTECH), Esther Lariba Atiah Aborik, was laid to rest at Wiaga in the Builsa North Municipality of the Upper East Region on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

The 55-year-old educationist died in an accident which occurred on the Bolgatanga-Navrongo highway near the Volta River Authority office in Bolgatanga in the evening of Sunday July 25, 2021.

In her chosen profession as a teacher and before her demise, Mrs. Aborik rose through the ranks and ultimately to the position of Vice Principal of BOTECH.

Her burial service was well attended by sympathisers from all walks of life, including a strong management, staff and students of BOTECH Management who paid their last respect to the late Mrs. Aborik.

Widower of the deceased, Stanley Baba Aborik, indicated the depth of his heart-break on the sudden passing of his beloved wife.

He, pointed out that she “as not only a wonderful wife and mother but she was a meticulous house keeper and a homemaker. She was cheerful, friendly person and made many warm friends. She seldom, if ever criticized any person. Instead, she preferred to refer to their good qualities. She was the soul of honesty. She would never shade the truth no matter the consequences. She loved church and was faithful to her allotted task.”

Children of the late Mrs. Aborik were grateful to God for every moment they shared with their mother.

On their part, management and staff of BOTECH paid a glorying tribute to the Late Vice Principal particularly, on her achievements and general contributions to the overall development of the school.
