The embattled General Secretary of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Janet Asana Nabla, has petitioned the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to probe the party’s flag-bearer for the 2020 general elections, David Apasera, over alleged financial malfeasance.
According to the petition address to the CID on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, the suspended National Chairman of the party, Moses Dani Baah, should also be investigated for the same alleged financial malfeasance and stealing.

Meanwhile, Mr. Apasera, and Mr. Dani baah on September 9, 2021, sued 18 party executives at the Accra high court.
According to the writ filed, the plaintiffs were seeking an order, among others, to restrain Janet Asana Nabla, the General Secretary and Bala Maikankan, who was elected as the acting National Chairman of the party at a National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Kumasi on September 7 this year, from going to the PNC’s National Headquarters or having anything to do with the office.
They have also joined in the suit, some regional chairpersons and secretaries as well as a founding member of the party, Comrade Aremyawu Ali.
