The list of nominees for the various Municipal and District Assemblies in the Upper East Region has been released.
It was part of the full list of 260 nominees across the country published on the website and other social media platforms of the Ministry of Information on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
The list, according to the Minister for Local Government, Dan Botwe, has been forwarded to the 16 Regional Ministers to initiate moves in ensuring assembly level elections for the various nominees.
Six out of the fifteen nominees in the Upper East Region are persons who have been retained in office.
They are; Daniel Kwame Gariba for Builsa South, Agnes Anamoo for Nabdam, and Gerard Ataogye for Kassena Nankana West.
The rest are Ayinga Abagri Yakubu for Binduri, Paul Azumah Abugri for Tempane and Zubeiru Abdulai for Pusiga District.
