The newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bolgatanga, Rex Asanga, has indicated his willingness to engage all relevant stakeholders to work towards the development of the municipality.
Being optimistic about having the full support of almost all relevant stake holders in the municipality, Mr. Asanga said he will liaise with Past MCE, traditional leaders, developmental agencies as well as professional and technical experts to ensure the development of the assembly and make it a better place for the people of the area.
He made this known in an interview on A1 Radio’s Daybreak Upper East programme after he obtained a unanimous endorsement as MCE last Thursday.
“Anybody who has some knowledge or skills to contribute to our development, my doors are opened. I’m going to come after a lot of people. I want to build a team of professional and technical experts in some areas that we will always consult when it comes to certain issues including past MCEs and our traditional leaders.” He said.
Mr. Asanga who was the 2020 Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency added that his administration will meet with butchers in Bolgatanga to iron out their challenges so that the newly constructed Abattoir at Yorogo could be operationalized.
